Sébastien Erms is the pseudonym used by filmmaker Éric Rohmer and editor Mary Stephen to sign the music for several Éric Rohmer films . The first name Sébastien was chosen in homage to Johann Sebastian Bach. The name "Erms" results from the union of the initials of Éric Rohmer and Mary Stephen .
