Jeremy Black is a US-born music producer and composer living in Berlin. He was born into a musical family, starting piano lessons at the age of five and the drums soon after. Mentored in high school by Jazz legend John Scofield, Jeremy went on to study Music Production at Berklee School of Music in Boston, where he founded the psych-pop group Apollo Sunshine, subsequently achieving quick notoriety in the early 2000s. After critical response to their first 3 albums, and a pivotal TV placement in Breaking Bad, Jeremy sought out a larger audience for his music production by opening Coyote Hearing Studio in Oakland, California. Building studio collaborations and live performances with dozens of established artists over the years including members of Bon Iver, Ezra Furman, Dave Harrington, FJAAK and Efterklang in addition, Jeremy also participated in and helped produce the PEOPLE Festival, an exciting and diverse movement bubbling up from the Berlin and international underground.
